The typical program structure is designed Condominium Associations predominantly fire resistive and non combustible construction with Insureds domciled in Florida

  • Property up to $100,000,000 per policy

  • All Risk Special Form excluding wind

  • DIC Perils Form excluding wind

  • Buildings and Personal Property

  • Ordinance and Law

  • Boiler and Machinery

  • Sinkhole Coverage

  • Citizens Policyholder Surcharge Endorsement

  • All Other Wind (AOW) Deductible Buyback

  • Minimum deductible $2,500

  • Minimum TIV $5,000,000

                                                                            

Exceptions

  • Risks with aluminum wiring

  • Risks with hazardous adjacent exposures

  • Risks with armed security

  • Risks with commercial marina operations

  • Association where membership is voluntary

  • Any building during ground-up construction, major renovations or remodel

Citizens Wrap-Around (DIC) Program

The typical program structure is designed to broaden coverage by providing additional limits and coverage other than the Citizens basic perils property policy

  • Property up to $100,000,000 per policy

  • DIC Form and Special Form Perils

  • Buildings and Personal Property

  • Loss of Rents including wind

  • Ordinance and Law including wind

  • Boiler and Machinery

  • Sinkhole Coverage

  • Citizens Policyholder Surcharge Endorsement

  • All Other Wind (AOW) Deductible Buyback

  • All construction types eligible

                                                                            

Citizens Policyholder Surcharge Coverage

The program is designed to limit the out of pocket expense due to large hurricane deductibles and statutorily manadated deficit recoupment charges

  • When the Surcharge is made as a result of a direct physical loss to properties stated on the Policy Declarations

  • Effective date of coverage/policy/ endorsement was prior to the date of occurrence that created the deficit and resulting in the Policyholder Surcharge

  • There is direct physical loss to the covered property in excess of the Citizens applicable deductible

  • This coverage does not apply to subsequent or prior Regular Assessments

                                                                            

All Other Wind Deductible Buyback Coverage

The typical program structure is designed for Citizens Insurance wind only program with All Other Wind Deductible buy-back facility for other than named hurricanes allows policyholders options for reducing these very high deductibles

  • Coverage is provided for the perils of wind and hail other than a named hurricane

  • Allow a commercial risk to buy down other than named hurricane

  • Available for Building, Business Personal Property covered under a commercial policy form

  • Buy Citizens All Other Wind 1% Deductible buy down to $25,000
